Privacy Policy

Effective date: December 15, 2025  |  Last updated: December 15, 2025

DreamJob.Today (“DreamJob.Today”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a candidate-centric recruitment platform. Candidates create a profile describing skills, experience, preferences, and location. Employers submit role requirements and may send interview invitations to candidates who appear to be a strong match.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website and services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and similar identifiers.
  • Candidate profile: skills and proficiency, role preferences, work model (remote/hybrid/on-site), location, experience summary, and other details you enter.
  • Resume/CV and attachments: the documents you upload and information contained in them.
  • Communications: messages you send to us or through the platform (e.g., support requests, responses to invitations).

b) Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, referring URLs, and similar engagement data.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system details.
  • Log data: error logs and security logs to maintain reliability and protect against abuse.

c) Sensitive information

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information (e.g., health data, government IDs, financial account numbers) unless specifically requested and required for a lawful purpose. If such data appears in your resume, you understand it may be processed as part of providing the Services.

2) How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
  • Create and maintain accounts, profiles, and system matching logic.
  • Enable employers to submit role requirements and send interview invitations to candidates.
  • Facilitate communication related to invitations, scheduling, and candidate interest signals (e.g., accept/decline).
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and secure the platform.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3) How We Share Information

a) With employers

We share candidate profile information with employers only as needed to support matching and invitation workflows. This may include skills, experience summaries, location/work preferences, and resume content (depending on your settings and the workflow).

b) With service providers

We may use trusted third parties to help run the Services (e.g., hosting, monitoring, analytics, email delivery). These providers may process personal information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

c) For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful requests.

4) Employer Access & Visibility

DreamJob.Today is not a traditional public job board. Employers do not simply “search the entire database” as a substitute for mass resume scraping. Instead, employer access is designed around relevance and controlled interaction.

What employers can see

  • Your skills and proficiency levels
  • Role and work preferences
  • Location/work model preferences
  • Profile summary and (where applicable) resume content

What you control

  • Your profile accuracy and completeness
  • Whether you respond to invitations
  • Requests to update or delete your information
  • Optional visibility controls (as supported in the product)

Note: specific visibility settings may vary by feature availability in the MVP.

5) Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. We may also use analytics tools to improve performance and user experience.

  • Essential cookies: required for site functionality and security.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand usage patterns (where enabled).

6) Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes such as security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion as described below, subject to applicable legal requirements.

7) Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Your Rights & Choices

You may have rights under applicable privacy laws, which can include:

  • Requesting access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Requesting deletion of your information (subject to legal and operational constraints).
  • Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent.

To submit a request, contact us using the details in the “Contact Us” section.

9) International Transfers

Depending on our service providers and infrastructure, your information may be stored or processed in jurisdictions outside your province or country. We take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with this Privacy Policy.
